Sunday Chill, a Multifilla review & can't get enuff of Hot&Roll

Salam everyone. its been awhile since my last babble session. How u been? hope all is well..
ive been good too alhamdulillah. Life is much calmer these days. I suppose; life after a hurricane & puting beliung wasnt that bad after all. Somehow i believe we were put in a certain situation for a reason. And to top it all, Allah wont put us in a challenge if he knew we cant survive the test. so Insyallah...

So since its weekend, i would love to extend my blabs to day. Its nice to just laze on the bed... doing nothing. hehe especially when u had a round the clock week. so relaxin' is just so nice --

Anyways had a busy day yesterday; was up since early and we even went to an Art Supplies warehouse called Multifilla in Balakong  (lately hubs &; i started berjinak2 into these creative DIY proj). The warehouse is quite far from city; about 3km from Mines Shopping and warehouse are so much- like factory roads area.

At first From the outside; it did looked kinda like a dodgy place but once we got in, it was nice to see heaps of art stuff they got. So i was generally excited and start looking into what to get. The place was run by an elder couple and at first they were quite friendly to recommend some supplies. Overall we spend 3hours plus in the store & left with a compact box of art. Tips to new-goers: Since the store is run by elder, suggest to get opposite gender in helping u get your stuff. They have quite a number of supplies & price range is so-so. But like other bloggers have said; they can be quite expensive here &; there. Make sure u check what u get & don't end up bringing home more than u need (we paid for an extra brush worth RM18) Plus more items are already in deals (like buy 10 get 1 free) and they wont give u further discount even if u buy RM500 above (unless u're their...).

So retailers; do take note. Never under-estimate the purchasing power of a buyer. Just because they came once & splurge; doesn't mean they will return if you don't treat them well. Sometimes its more beneficial to be kind to them & give some less (even RM10)  then they dont mind coming back (after all retailers' gain & no point being lan-si) especially when comes to purchase in bulk - yes; the small bargain counts. Even SSF (big stores) Kaison etc often give discounts & bestbuys.

As for us, we bought quite a number of things & some store will give u 10% for big volume purchases. So, upon leaving; i felt uncomfortable cos the aunty sort of forced me to buy what she recomended (quite annoying actually) and moreover we had a lazy feeling to return to the store again  - of course maybe the distance, travel & the lan-si-ness discount wasn't worth the second round.

So thats for the Art shop review. Besides all that, i got another awesome savory i'd like to recommend. hehe
We sooo cant get enough of the crispy Hot & Roll thin pancake. These yummers come in savory crispy pancakes to pratha. From just curry to chicken & cheese to sweet savories like peanut, banana etc..  (they're affordable too) (Website: hotandroll.com )

Lately u can see em' blooming everywhere like mushrooms... They're easy to find (Garden/ Festival City, One utama, The Curve, Pavillion, Berjaya time square, KLCC & more. And people are willing to queue for their faves (incl me). So go & grab a bite whenever u can yaa...

Saying Loud & Clear

Ola ola.. hows ur weekend guys. hope u guys didnt get stuck in the havoc in KL city centre on 9th.. there were roadblocks everywhere.. i even heard the police arrested many civilians.. arghh that sucks if u happen to be in the wrong place at wrong time...

My Saturday was much home based one.. (since heavy traffic/ close everywhere) we stayed in and made it up yesterday with errands & meetings. 

Anyways since its monday (& most of us got monday bluesss) i thought i'd like to share some personal opinions of mine...First - to all the followers; thanks a million for always making time to read..hehe u guys the best.:)

Its such disbelief the site is shutting down. All those memories of the past 7-8 years (i think kot) all there and all gona be wipe out forever. its so sad cos i think they couldnt maintain the site anymore & decided to shut it down. wish i can save the website though.. i guess no one wants tooo... :(

Nyways there goes half my morning trying to save the faves and store them in my hardisk. its alot actually when think of the last 7-8 years event. from Perth trips to holidays to friends events + gatherings and birthdays to perth again and to current. Although the recent ones byk tak masuk- but there's still thousands of them dere!

How to fight fear

Fear is one of my favorite topics. Much of my time has been spent understanding this emotion and how I can overcome my personal fears. A sense of personal empowerment, accomplishment, and fulfillment surges with each fear I face.

The most important fact about fears that we should always bear in mind is this:Fear is not a rational response to whatever challenges stare at us in life. And it is all in our mind, within us, and not anything external to us.

Haih. arini mood keje sememangnye takde. dah penat dah tenung lappie lama2. mood tetap takde. sigh. dahle keta baru kena tow for the 2nd time. bosan betul la.

I suppose when u live in KL carless- life aint that happy kan? susah jugak xde ketaaaaa.. nak g mane2 pon susahhhh...even despite the jam, & all .. we all kl-ians still prefer the motor vehicle transport. yela nanti hujan sume basah jugak!

Merapu di hari Thursday

Helo Thursdays! finally im in the mood to write setelah menjadi biziiiibeeee selama beberape hari.. well my week has been average with loads of work & piling of things to do dan deadline fom hari ke hari.

first i just wana express my 'kelegaan' when finally my car has been finalized to be fixed and ready soon. imagine the horror & disappointment when ' aircond compressor" issue takes bl&#@%n 2 weeks to figure out! seriously! WTH they're doing in the garage?

nways sume phase i already went thru the past 2 weeks. from disapointment to angry to diplomatic.. . only 1 good part from all this; is i get to borrow dad's car ----- but until i langgar dinding 2 days ago -- woops .. which made me realised dammmit - i better get my car done fast before i wreck more! hahaha

so there goes the hole in my pocket. haiyoo. well if u wana have a nice car- u better make sure u got some cash to deal with the upkeep. most likely shit happens. no kidding.

nways im grateful there is one thing that could cheer me up tonite-- we're watching RAPUNZEL! the tangle tale! huhuu....

Muscle Cramps - causes & treatment

A muscle cramp, technically, occurs when your muscle tightens and shortens causing a sudden severe pain.

Today i got up too early with leg cramps.. it was so painful that i was yelling practically from my sleep.. i recalled having me & hubs trying to straighten my leg in the wee hours in the morning.. which was around 5am.


And it still aching till now. no idea how i managed to drive to work this morning -- anyways here's some info about muscle cramps -- good to take note off ...


Muscle cramps generally result from overexertion and dehydration. When you don't have enough fluid in your system, it leads to an electrolyte imbalance that causes your muscles to cramp up. Electrolytes are minerals such as sodium, magnesium, calcium and potassium that help the cells to function normally. An imbalance occurs when we have too much or too little of one or more electrolytes in our system. The main electrolytes affecting muscle cramping are potassium, sodium and calcium.

Cramps may also occur after inactivity, such as sitting too long in one place without moving a muscle. Sometimes you can even get a cramp when you're just lying in bed, though researchers cannot define a definite cause.

Most often people get cramps in their calves, however, you can also get them in your thighs, feet or just about any muscle. Cramps can be eased by a few simple methods as mentioned below.

What are LEG CRAMPS?

Cramp is a term often used to refer to a painful, involuntary contraction of a single muscle or a muscle group.

 Had a weird monday i must say.

First grandma got admitted to hosp; with ambulance coming to get her &;; all.. i was numb when i got the news that she vomitted blood in her cough &; had troubles breathing. Poor nyai.. this  so sad....

then after the ambulance left bringing her to the hospital; i tried to start my car. and to my shockness- my car couldnt start ... grrr i knew my battery was weak on last weekend but didnt realise it wuould die sooner. nways; after  i thought of dealing with the grdma emergency & deal with the car afterwards.

So i went to the hosp to see  grdma first--- she's now resting there under docs supervision.. i hope she gets well soon.. prayers for our beloved nyai...

zombie-ness at work

Hello fellow readers.. ive been trying to keep myself awake since morning due to my "curtain fall" in the wee hours in the morning. yes. even no amount of cofee can keep my head up straight - and im so like zombie right now despite the piling of tasks to do....

Well lets recap how i got to become a zombie now. First due to my lack of sleep for the past 3 days (SLAVE) sleep late wake up early syndrome) and apparently while i was packing at 12am lastnight; my wooden curtain rack with my curtains fell on me. ok dont laugh.

and not only causing me pain on my shoulder - but causing us headaches; hubs was up til 2am fixing it; and also more headaches to figure out how curtain-less our rooms gona be for the next few days.. dammmit what a timing!

Ohhh okay im trying to motivate myself here... the only thing kept me going is ICE CREAM. so for ice cream lovers out there....
a day dream about an ice creams can at least tune in abit of our sullen moods & frustrations. maybe if we can disappear; might as well go grab a scoop right? besides.. 31st is sooo coming.. 31%discount all day long wooohoooo...

size does not matters when comes to them

Lately my home has been distraught with some disturbing news of missing RM 300 petty cash and RM300 of our helper's purse. I find it quite weird cos we all knew all of us who stayed in the house and i find it impossible to believe if there is a thief amongst us. Anyways in search for the "real thief" i was doing some bit of research in wondering if these "toyol" the mythical superstitious creatures still exists in our worlds to become the thieves instead. well not that i wana accuse anything/anyone --- but its worth to do some bit of reading about em' .. more below.


According to the Malaysian Constitution, to be a Malay you must be Muslim; and according to tradition, to be a true Malaysian Muslim you must not believe in superstition (tahyul). In practice, though, the folk legends of Malaysia are still very popular; and in spite of the rigid disapproval of the local moral authorities, people still speak in whispers of the traditional ghosts and monsters like the pontianak (a woman who has died in childbirth and returned as a vampire) or the pocong (a spirit that doesn't realize it's dead, and wanders the earth wrapped in its burial shroud).

In 2006, a Malay fisherman found something in his net that scared him out of his wits. It was a glass jar, the sort that might once have contained instant coffee. Inside the jar was a small black figure — a doll perhaps; it was shaped like a baby and had red eyes. Also inside the jar were some bits of onion, some sand, and a yellow thread. This would probably be disturbing enough if there hadn't been any local stories attached to such a thing. But in fact, this piece of flotsam strongly resembled a supernatural creature from Malay folklore. The fisherman, much to his horror, was convinced he had stumbled upon a toyol.

A toyol is a dead fetus or stillbirth that's been re-animated by black magic. It's usually kept in a jar, or a box, and given offerings of food — often a few drops of blood from the creature's summoner. In return for the food and protection, thetoyol will lurk around the village at night, running errands for its master... errands the summoner would rather not be seen doing himself. Typical "errands" would include petty thefts or vandalism, which the toyol could get away with because of its tiny size.

Since the toyol is really only a child, it would rarely be used for more serious mischief. Still, possessing a toyol is considered very dark magic indeed. Furthermore, though there are many legends about the ways to obtain a toyol, there are none about getting rid of one. So you can understand why the fisherman was upset by what he'd found.

flabbergasted feelin'

Today started a quite challenging day since 1am lastnite. was so devastated knowing my external HDD of 7 months just died on me (apparently got corrupted & not responding for the moment.) waaaaa

im so depressed knowing most of my life files; pics albums, & work its all bottled up and frozen in em! waaa... why now? and worst part it was working earlier at 7pm; shit. i wished i could rewind the clock.waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

now im trying to figure out how to rescue my data-s before it all dissapeared into thin air...
im all in between sobs now. goshhhhhh....

a merry-go-round for u & me

Sometimes Life is quite funny to some of us here.. most times we're always learning something new; whether new info; new knowledge and perhaps new things about ourselves and others. its funny how Life works. it is. really.

even we ourselves can find other people's character quite funny when the other side think the same about us. and perhaps there are people with these funny funny attitudes that sometimes makes us wonder what were they up to and what was behind their actions.

Hello ppl dearies... yay Hari Raya is approaching near...cant believe time flies that fast-- and tup tap tup tap its almost the end of 2010... hehe

this year is quite special for me &; family hehe.. first; im raya-ing first timer with my hubs of  6 months (almost okeh) and new home to raya at too hehehhe (our newfound lovers pad..hehehheh)

then 2nd good thing is raya-ing with the in-laws for both of us. i get to be with my other fam & so is hubs. our fam gets bigger n merrier huhuuu..

3rd reason good raya this year- we got new coming family member which is sis fiance to raya with us. & of course our grdmum nyai is with us too. its a merry merry happy occasion .. hehe cant wait.

dugaan ramadhan

Its wednesday afternoon and im hungry. hehe.. lastnite we forgot to set our alarms; and off we slept through the nite - i mean morning till we got up at 6 - which was too late to sahur! waaaaaaa.... terlepas sahurrrr...

well now both of us gona suffer of hungerness till end of the day. habislaaaa haha

sigh im more thirsty actually.. sigh the dugaans of ramadhan. quite challenging actually this year.

nyways past few days ive been settling my house errands. lots to do with not so much time. even took EL yesterday to make sure few things were done. alhamd. its almost all settle. phew.

Sigh ... monday is here... i still havent got over my weekend mode. this sucks. cos i dont feel like working despite the piling up work onto me.

suddenly i wished i can just take a few days off &; not think about work. my mind going bonkers. really... haha..

Poor babyjack

It was a very sad day....  around 6-ish i was surprised with a call from down under. from the sound of my sister's saddest voice ive not heard for some time; i suspected something terrible had happened.. and i was prepared to hear the worst the moment she asked me "have i heard about her?"...

We are so devastated of the sad news. very. wishing her very best &; hope she is strong. love u babyjack. i regret for not seeing her the past 6 months. im sorry such so young to go through such ordeal. im sorry. =(
