 Friday yay you're back! huhu... im happy weekend is coming back despite its already december month! the edge of 2010.. -- sigh..

in a way its unbelievable this year passed so quickly and so many events yet memorable days happened all year round. Must say it has been a pleasant having 2010 and its sad to see em' go. nways here's more pics of Perth Jalan jalan Adventure- Beach series part I.. enjoy the pics!

 It was a breezey afternoon despite the hotness look u may see from the pics. temperature was 17ish Celsius and i was wearing sweater at all times.haha infact hubs teased me of my easy-prone-to-sejukness cos ive been living here the past 7-8years ... (sekali imbas memg mcm tak biase ngn Perth weather! haha) yet he's the one in shorts at all times during our trip this time.hehe

 If you enjoy long relaxing walks along clean sandy beaches, swimming in the surf on a warm sunny day, or perhaps lazing on a beach towel while watching the world go by, then a visit to the Sunset Coast in Perth is for you.

The Sunset Coast in Perth comprises a long stretch of premier coastline and beach side suburbs, from Cottesloe west of Perth, to Mindarie Keys north west of the Perth city centre. Many of the beaches are just a short drive from the centre of Perth, and this northern coastal area is popular for Perth's safe swimming beaches, walking and cycling paths, as well as beach side cafes.
Some of the most popular beaches of the sunset coast are:

• Cottesloe Beach - a safe swimming beach although strong currents can develop near the groyne.
• Swanbourne Beach - usually a safe beach for swimming, and well known in Perth as a nudist beach.
• City Beach - a safe swimming beach and a popular family beach. Rips and breaking waves can cause problems around the groynes.
• Scarborough Beach - A popular swimming and surfing beach, although it can be rough for beginners. More suited to experienced swimmers. Rips and currents are fairly common.
• Trigg Beach - A popular beach for surfing, as the surf can be rough for swimmers. Rips and currents are also common.
• North Beach - generally a safe swimming beach
• Sorrento Beach - generally a safe beach for swimming and popular with families.

Part of the Sunset Coast's appeal is the relaxed atmosphere it provides to visitors. Within walking distance from the beaches, there are a number of cafes to choose from, and many offer alfresco style dining, which is perfect for the Perth summer climate. In the summer months these cafe's are often buzzing with life, offering an assortment of food to tempt the palate.
As you have probably guessed by now, the Sunset Coast gets its name from the stunning sunsets that can be seen at the end of the day. Being on the West Coast of Australia certainly has its advantages, and the perfect end to a day at the beach in Perth would have to be watching the beautiful evening sunsets as the sun goes down over the Indian Ocean.
And if you thought the Sunset Coast was all beaches, and beautiful sunsets, think again. This area also includes the nearby Sunset Hinterland. Here you can experience a close up look of native Western Australian bush, only a short drive inland from the ocean. Amongst this bushland you will find a real jewel in the north hinterland at Yanchep National Park, which offers a range of native fauna to see, including Koalas, Kangaroos and Cockatoos. The park also runs aboriginal dance and culture tours daily, and don't forget to take a tour of Crystal Cave, an underground world that will intrigue you.
