Actually today im in the mood for blabs blabs. So for those yang malas nak baca... (u may skip this part) to my Creatives (below)
So today im in the mood for Inspiration talks. I know sometimes i can be quite chatty & merepeking. But somehow i find it therapeutic & healing after blabbing. Some sort of self therapy i guess.
Lately i noticed, so many of us are having a career change and taking different career paths. Hehe. maybe cos its the age thing (towards late 20s or early 30s) we ought to be ranked manager... and perhaps for self-fulfilling reasons.
Then again, maybe its the growing fad of Young, energetic & business entrepreneur kinda thing. The evolution in business world in marketing &; advertising thanks to social network (FB, twitter, websites) also has made it all possible. Plus there were so many friends i knew, slowly building their own name (either own brand, jv with friends or even family biz). And true, Generation Y's &; Yuppies these days has the most higher need for their own business than working for others. Perhaps cos soo many new young names rising & up has caused many to realise; that they want to live a fulfilling life chasing their dreams instead fulfilling others.
Its quite the extraordinary courage to begin with. To be honest, is a brutal life out there in the business world. As according stats, 50% businesses failed in the first 5 years... and the next 10years, the statistics gradually goes up... See... its not that easy; but success stories everywhere has proven otherwise.
As a girl who grew up business thinking her whole life, i always envision my life doing business. Even during my childhood days, my sis & i used to do our own biz as extra pocket money. Maybe cos the way we were brought up; that got us here. But then again, business world is a big map by its own.. and we have a looong way to go ...
For us and those who dare to venture into the business world, i must say Passion has triggered that courage. Its not easy to have passion & trying to make money. But who says it has to be All about Money & Profits? Nobody says its gona be that easy. And nobody says its not Doable either. Robert Kiyosaki often writes about his trials & the way he endures the hardships that brought his success. His passion &; believe has got him the way he is. And so did many self-made-millionaires mentioned the same. And in Malaysia? Look-up on Tony Fernandez of Air Asia. Its not the different story either.
To me, we live life once. everything we do here on this earth there has to be a purpose. Whether to teach, to serve or to make a difference. We all have our callings. Its actually entirely up to us in the end on what to do with it. Its our own self-realization actually.
That is why most of us are plunging into the unknowns, dreaming of the greenery and hoping faith & believe will guide us all the way there. Its a big step. Its a courage act. For some of us, making our own name is what we seek, finding our own passion and achieving our life-long dreams. Dreams are meant to be visualized & realized, not kept as our imagination. Like in Walt Disney cartoon, Sleeping beauty: "Dreams are made to come true."
For those who barely started, dont panic. dont fret. Everything can begin now. Its never too late until you do something. If we stood still, with our dreams it looks like you're just standing there; basically like throwing your dreams & watching someone else live your dream. How do we live to just watch life pass us by? We know better. We always knew whats best for us. It is up to us to Live ourselves with it.
My fave motivation question is, in 10years.. in 20 years.. where will i be?.. who will i become?

For those of you still wondering, yes, i still do design blogging/DIY websites/maintenance.
Just that my time is a lil bit limited lately, so i seldom do FOC blogs anymore.
My Portfolio website will be running next month, so hopefully you guys can have a better picture of my designs & my creatives side. I also design/maintain blog for beginners (my pricing is affordable) and maintenance starts (from RM199 per month).
Why would you hire a proper blog designer?
Cos.. Blogs & websites now are like a CV/portfolio for your business/personal development. Individuals / small businesses they want to market and advertise their products & info in a cost effective manner way prior having a real website (average costs RM 3k & above) Moreover, blogs/DIY websites are easier to maintain (day to day updates) than full websites & usually much cheaper.
For those new business new in the Blog/Diy websites, it is much easier to hire someone to design & slowly maintain from time to time yourself. After all, business blogs/websites has a different facade compared to personal blogs & the way your blog/website look can also contribute a big influence on how to attract your clients.
My style range from simple & classy to girlie to professional and commercial. And i also designs logo, buttons, banners &; such.
