Love Lessons

Okay... since we're all movie fanatics-- especially the romance ones... lets check it out the lessons we should learn from these movies or teevee shows and how they may have had impact on our very own love life----


1. wedding date

the girl got dumped by her ex-fiance years ago cos he was sleeping with her sis and the girl brought a male escort to the wedding to make others believe she's happy in love instead pining for the ex.

love lesson: it takes alot of courage to make others believe you're happy when youre not-- bravo to her... she was trying to fool others and by pretending it so much; she actually believed it and fell in love herself... and actually had real happiness in the end...(even she had to face betrayal on her own...)

and the sis? sleeping with sis fiance back then is a no - no. considered she was betraying on then bf (future hubby) and her own sis. guilt did ate her up and she almost risked losing her man for good for being honest about the affair and her own sister (even its step-sis). maybe honesty is the best policy--- in this movie (not sure in real-life men forgive their women for cheating on them...).

moral story: guilt will always bite your ass back.(for the sis & the cheating fiance). and betrayals after-effect; it may takes years to recover from (as the sisters-closeness wont be same anymore -obviously it was more competition); the make-up sex--- how long can that ever last?

2. best friend's wedding

classic movie on one best friend fall for the other when the other was about to get married and the bff tries to steal the bff away before his own wedding!...

love lesson: i guess there are bffs who fall for one another and one must be very sure its love before pursuing it. its risky though cos they may end-up losing the friendship; but at least one knows the other wasnt in love with the bff..

stealing him before the wedding? is obvious the bff was making a fool of herself. but i guess we all take chances when it comes to love. maybe love is all about taking chances? taking risks to see if the other has the courage to love em back?

moral story: despite being courageous in regarding the-heart-matters; it will take years to mend the rejection...basically the friendship will hardly be same soon after....(until the bff finds her true love...).. and of course the bff fiance will mark the bff as a potential-hubby-snatcher! haha
