Poor babyjack

It was a very sad day....  around 6-ish i was surprised with a call from down under. from the sound of my sister's saddest voice ive not heard for some time; i suspected something terrible had happened.. and i was prepared to hear the worst the moment she asked me "have i heard about her?"...


and i couldnt believe my ears when the news broke to me about the "hit & run incident" to my dismay of anger i was deliberately cursing & quite upset by the end of the conversation. and of course we didnt know how to react.


this was when reality begin to hit us hard. our baby had been hit & run.Who wouldnt be very very upset when their baby has been hit & run and left to die on the road? poor baby. poor blackjack.

even though she's just a cat & she's just almost 2 years old; we believe she's still a being on this planet & nobody deserved to die. stupid driver. i hope this person will get what they deserved for crushing my cat's leg & tail!

sigh. so the saddest part is; blackjack's backfeet was seriously injured. and its tail too.
docs tried to save it & gave her loads of meds. according to my sis- our baby was high when she went to see her that evening.

by the next day; the vet advised them to proceed with the amputation if they want to save her. if not; she should be put to sleep. Hello. of course we will save our baby! which crazy idiot would let their baby die slow painful death? a heartless being i suppose.

and so begins blackjack; our baby as a 3-legged baby now. we're still sadden by the incident. still am. infact still cursing the driver who hit her. idiot.

good thing is; blackjack seems to be more manja now. she's well taken care by sis & she;s more attentive than ever. i suppose when things like this happen; then we realise we had to appreciate & be grateful of what we have.
